Sedona, Arizona, is known for its scenic red rocks. After months of lockdown at home, and predicting that holiday travel would be difficult, I met my family in Sedona for a week at the end of September and early October. In addition to touring town, I enjoyed some scenic hikes through the unusual ruddy desert.
Several of my hikes began before dawn, both for the best lighting and because the average highs could still reach 90°F. I shot all photos on my iPhone 11 Max, mostly with Camera+ 2 and video with FiLMiC Pro.
