“Hipstamatic” recreates the look of retro analog cameras on iPhones and iPod Touches. But choosing which films and lenses to get a particular look is difficult.
I created Hipstamatrix.com to help people find combinations of lenses and films. The project includes more than 360 photos I shot over four days and a unique method to browse them. Unlike other tables available online, this site lets users search by look rather than effect name.
Hipstamatrix was my first website optimized for both desktop and handheld browsers. Custom jQuery let users search without refreshing the screen. CSS3 formats content for iPhones and desktop browsers alike.
