The belief:

Web design—in fact, any design—should not be about design. Decoration is about making things look good. Trends are about wanting someone else’s results. Design is about solving problems.

The person:

Ben Gremillion designs for both print and the web. A former Photoshop teacher, he also writes about design principles and digital media.

When he’s not pushing pixels, he enjoys hiking, photography and, like any good geek, science fiction.
